Sukoon Insurance reported a 39% year-on-year increase in profit before tax to AED 302.8 million for the first half of 2026, with net profit after tax reaching AED 258.8 million. The growth was primarily driven by a 68% surge in the insurance service result, which reached AED 241 million due to strong technical performance and disciplined underwriting.
Insurance revenue grew 15% year-on-year to AED 3.5 billion, while gross written premiums surpassed AED 3.8 billion, marking a 12% increase. These results were supported by robust new business generation and successful portfolio expansion across the Group’s segments.
Net investment income rose 11% to AED 160.2 million, benefiting from a prudent strategy of allocating free cash flow toward income-generating assets. The Group maintains a highly liquid balance sheet and a strong solvency position of 260%, well above the regulatory minimum of 100%.
