Saleh Abdulaziz Al Rashed & Sons Co. issued an operational update on nine newly established or invested subsidiaries with an aggregate investment of approximately SAR 30.8 million.
Five subsidiaries have been cancelled due to unsuccessful bid outcomes, while the remaining four include one inactive mining entity and three active subsidiaries, notably AKM Industries which operates in ready-mix concrete.
Activities for the remaining new subsidiaries are suspended until a General Assembly is convened within 30 days of listing for public shareholders to vote on their continuation or divestment.
Selling shareholders have provided a binding undertaking to acquire the subsidiaries at no less than the investment cost if public shareholders vote for divestment, ensuring economic protection for new investors.
