LIVA Insurance Co. announces its Interim Financial Results for the period ending on 2025-09-30 ( Nine Months )

• Increase of the insurance service result before the reinsurance contracts held during the current quarter by SAR 28,280 thousand, driven by business growth.

• The net expense from reinsurance contracts held during the current quarter SAR 35,560 thousand increased by SAR 28,308 thousand compared to the same quarter for previous year SAR 7,252 thousand, mainly due to the reinsurance share of premiums ceded in for large businesses written during the period.

The overall decrease has been partially offset by an improvement in the following accounts:

• Zakat provision during the current quarter decreased by SAR 685 thousand.

• Net investment income grew during the current quarter by 3.6% and amounted to SAR 8,046 thousand compared to SAR 7,767 thousands in the same quarter for previous year.

Net income after Zakat achieved is SAR 16,585 thousand during the current period compared to SAR 21,965 thousand for the same period last year, with a decrease of 24.5%.

This decrease of net profits was mainly driven by:

• The insurance service result during the current period amounted to SAR 4,889 thousand compared to SAR 23,374 thousand for the same period last year with a decrease of 79.1%.

This decrease of net profits was partly offset by:

• Total investment income amounted to SAR 25,538 thousand during the current period compared to SAR 23,214 thousand for the same period last year, with an increase by 10%.

• Other operating expenses amounted to SAR 11,000 thousand during the current period compared to SAR 16,638 thousand the same period last year, with a decrease by 33.9%.

• The net profit after zakat attributable to shareholders for the current quarter amounted to SAR 11,328 thousand, with a total of 40,000 thousand shares as of 30-09-2025. In comparison, during the same quarter of previous year, the net profit after zakat attributable to shareholders was SAR 10,718 thousand, with the same number of shares, 40,000 thousand shares, as of 30-09-2024.

• The total shareholders’ equity amounted to SAR 459,645 thousand compared to SAR 440,551 thousand for the last year with an increase of 2.5%.

• The total accumulated losses at the end of the current quarter are SAR 5,802 thousand, compared to an accumulated loss of SAR 17,130 thousand for the previous quarter. The total accumulated losses at the end of the current quarter represent (1.5%) of the capital compared to (4.3%) as at end of last quarter.
