Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction Co. announces its Interim Financial results for the Period Ending on 2026-06-30 ( Six Months )

Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction reported a net profit of SAR 216.1 million for Q2 2026, marking a 9% year-on-year decrease from SAR 236.7 million despite a substantial rise in quarterly activity.
Quarterly revenue increased 37% to SAR 915.9 million, driven by the sale of six land plots compared to three in Q2 2025, although H1 2026 revenue fell 15% due to the sale of plots in zones further from Al Haram that command lower prices.
The decline in net profit was primarily attributed to a sharp increase in financial charges to SAR 131.2 million after the company stopped capitalizing borrowing costs following the completion of major infrastructure works.
The company launched a 2026–2030 strategy targeting up to SAR 5 billion in new investments and expects broadened demand following new regulations allowing non-Saudi real estate ownership within the Masar Destination.
