Horizon food co announces a leading strategic partnership with Bidfood Company

The agreement was signed on 12/08/1447H, corresponding to 30 January 2026, by Mr. Khadim Sarwar, Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Food, and Mr. Hisham Aljamil, Chief Executive Officer of Bidfood.

Bidfood is a leading global foodservice distribution and supply group with operations in nearly 30 countries worldwide, including across all GCC markets. Through this partnership, Horizon Food aims to leverage Bidfood’s established foodservice distribution capabilities, customer relationships, and market reach, while Bidfood will expand its portfolio with locally manufactured and regionally relevant products.

The partnership agreement was executed during the Gulf Food Exhibition (Gulfood 2026), a major international platform for trade, collaboration, and expansion within the food and beverage sector.

Horizon Food extends its appreciation to the Saudi Exports Authority for its support during the exhibition, which contributed to facilitating engagement between the parties and the successful completion of this agreement.

The Company expects the partnership to contribute positively to its financial and operational performance beginning in the first half of 2026. Beyond this period, the partnership is expected to support Horizon Food’s medium- to long-term growth strategy by strengthening its presence in the foodservice channel, accelerating market access across regional markets, and supporting product range expansion aligned with customer demand. The collaboration is also expected to enable both parties to pursue scalable growth opportunities through increased penetration of key customer segments and geographic markets.
