| Brief Resume | AlWaleed has served as Vice President of the Group since 2016, where he played an active role in the Group’s transformation program and was instrumental in defining the Group’s strategy announced on 24 Rabi Al-Thani 1445 (corresponding to November 8, 2023). He brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience marked by numerous achievements in leadership, management, strategic planning, risk management, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has held several executive and advisory positions, he also serves on the boards of a number of companies. Since joining the Group in 2016, AlWaleed has played a pivotal and active role in driving the Group’s strategic transformation and continued growth. He has also contributed to strengthening the Group’s management and governance practices in relation to key stakeholders, including shareholders, the Board of Directors, and its committees. His broad professional experience is complemented by a strong set of academic and professional qualifications. AlWaleed holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from King Saud University and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Florida, USA, in addition to completing several executive and leadership programs. |
