Sukoon Takaful reported a net profit for the period of AED 14.46 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, a substantial increase from the AED 9.54 million recorded in the first half of 2025. Profit before tax rose 52% year-on-year to AED 16.74 million, driven by strong technical performance and disciplined underwriting.
Takaful revenue surged 44% year-on-year to AED 152.02 million, while the Takaful service result grew 36% to AED 42.37 million. This growth was supported by the company's resilient operating model and strategic execution within the UAE's Sharia-compliant insurance sector.
Net investment income reached AED 11.08 million, a 20% increase over the previous year, reflecting steady yields and the effective deployment of free cash flows into income-generating assets. Overall performance was further bolstered by effective expense management, despite a rise in policy acquisition costs to AED 16.19 million.
The company maintained a robust capital position with a solvency ratio of 208%, more than double the 100% minimum regulatory requirement. Total assets grew to AED 654.65 million as of June 30, 2026, up from AED 586.30 million at the end of December 2025.
