Introduction	Further to Southern Province Cement Company’s announcement regarding the latest developments in establishing a new production line at Jazan Cement Plant to replace the current production lines, published on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) website on 05/06/1444H corresponding to 29/12/2022G, and the Company’s announcement regarding the signing of a contract with Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. for the establishment of a clinker production line with a capacity of 5,000 tons/day and cement grinding capacity of 10,000 tons/day, along with infrastructure for an additional clinker production line with a capacity of 5,000 tons/day, published on Tadawul on 28/10/1444H corresponding to 18/05/2023G. The Company is pleased to announce to its esteemed shareholders that most phases of the production line construction have been completed, and trial operation has commenced in some production stages in accordance with the scheduled implementation plan. The first trial batch of clinker was produced on 29/12/2025G. The Company expects that all construction phases will be completed, full production capacity achieved, and commercial operation commenced during the year 2026G. The operation of this production line comes within the framework of implementing the Company’s strategy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and modernizing production assets by adopting advanced production technologies in the cement industry, in addition to reducing production costs and limiting carbon emissions, effective from the date of commercial operation commencement.
