Orient Insurance reported a net profit after tax of AED 545.2 million for the six-month period ended 30 June 2026, an 8.5% increase compared to AED 502.5 million in the same period of 2025.
Insurance revenue rose 16.7% year-over-year to AED 5.22 billion, up from AED 4.47 billion, though the insurance service result dipped slightly to AED 268.3 million due to a significant rise in insurance service expenses to AED 4.38 billion.
Profitability was heavily bolstered by a 17.2% increase in net investment results, which reached AED 415.8 million, driven by AED 186.2 million in interest income and AED 175.1 million in dividend and other investment income.
Basic and diluted earnings per share for the period increased to AED 106.84 from AED 98.75, while the group’s total equity grew to AED 6.19 billion after the payment of AED 500 million in dividends.
