National Environmental Recycling Co. “Tadweeer” Announces the Acceptance of Its Registration under the Greenhouse Gases Crediting & Offsetting Mechanism (GCOM), Paving the Way for a New Pathway in Carbon Markets

National Environmental Recycling Co. (Tadweeer) has become the first company in Saudi Arabia to be registered under the Greenhouse Gases Crediting & Offsetting Mechanism (GCOM).
The registration allows the company to quantify the environmental impact of its electronic, electrical, and metal waste recycling operations for potential conversion into carbon credits and certificates.
The company aims to create an additional revenue stream by selling these credits to sectors such as energy, aviation, and mining once the measurement and verification processes are complete.
Registration represents a strategic first step and does not result in the immediate issuance of credits or immediate financial returns.
