Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company announced that the General Authority for Foreign Trade (GAFT) will impose final anti-dumping duties on Indian imports of ductile iron pipes for five years, effective August 4, 2026.
The duties apply to cast iron pipes (diameters 100 mm to 1000 mm) at a rate of 16.96% (minimum SAR 714 per metric tonne) for Electrosteel Castings Limited and 29.94% (minimum SAR 1,260 per metric tonne) for other Indian-origin imports.
The decision follows an investigation initiated by the company’s subsidiary, Saudi Arabian Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing Company Ltd. (SADIP), which accounts for 85% of local production.
Amiantit expects the imposition of these duties to have a positive impact on the company's sales of the affected products in future periods.
