| Announcement Detail | Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (YANSAB) announces the scheduled shutdown for the Ethylene Glycol plant for a period of 25 days starting from 06/08/1447H (according to Umm Al-Qura calendar) corresponding to 25 January 2026, to carry out preventive maintenance according to industrial and technical standards, which will contribute to the production of innovative products with new value-added grades, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance its product mix and keep pace with developments in the petrochemical markets. Noting that the expected financial impact of preventive maintenance depend on the actual duration of Turnaround and on the average sales prices of products in addition to average feedstock prices, the financial impact will appear during the first quarter of 2026 and the company will work to reduce this financial impact by optimizing the available inventory. It is also noted that this maintenance activity follows the longest operating period for the Ethylene Glycol plant in accordance with applicable technical standards for routine maintenance, reflecting the Company’s distinguished levels of operational reliability, process stability, and safety across all its production plants.
