SABIC Agri-Nutrients has updated the scope of its sixth plant in Jubail to focus on producing 1.2 million metric tons per annum (MMTA) of blue (low carbon) ammonia.
The scope update follows a gas feedstock allocation update received from the Saudi Ministry of Energy.
The company will announce further material developments in the future, including the Final Investment Decision (FID) and the awarding of Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracts.
