Introduction	Saudi Arabia Amiantit Company announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Energy – Water Resources of the Syrian Arab Republic, which aims to cooperate in supporting the plans of the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic in the development of the infrastructure of the water and wastewater sector, and the modernization of critical facilities related to treatment, pumping, desalination and transmission lines.

Memorandum Subject	Establish a non-binding cooperation framework for the design, construction and rehabilitation of water treatment plants, as well as the implementation of water transmission line and network projects, as well as the manufacture, supply and installation of piping systems. It also includes the preparation of technical and economic studies, providing ready-made solutions for remote areas, knowledge transfer and raising the efficiency of national cadres, and localizing the pipe industry within the Syrian Arab Republic.
Memorandum Duration	This MoU is valid for a calendar year from the date of signature.
