Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) reported a net profit of AED 61.1 million for the six-month period ended 30 June 2026, representing a significant 67.7% decline compared to the AED 189.0 million recorded during the same period in 2025.
Total revenue from contracts with customers decreased to AED 1.04 billion, down from AED 1.21 billion in the prior year, leading to a contraction in gross profit which fell from AED 285.2 million to AED 146.9 million.
Operating profit was pressured by steady fixed obligations, with plate and license fees remaining relatively flat at AED 184.4 million despite the drop in revenue, resulting in an operating profit of AED 89.4 million compared to AED 232.5 million YoY.
The company distributed AED 142.0 million in dividends during the first half of 2026 and maintained a cash and cash equivalents balance of AED 317.6 million, supported by AED 243.0 million in net cash generated from operating activities.
