Empower CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 117th International District Energy Association (IDEA) Conference in Ottawa, Canada.
The MoU aims to accelerate the global adoption of district cooling systems to improve energy efficiency, enhance energy security, and reduce carbon emissions.
The agreement facilitates international cooperation through the exchange of expertise, promotion of innovation, and support for regulatory frameworks in line with the Paris Climate Agreement.
Empower participated as a Diamond Sponsor for the conference, which was held from June 23 to 26, 2026, under the theme "Connecting Networks."
