Naseej for Technology Co. Announces Contract Sign Off with National Library and Archives, UAE

The project includes the acquisition and supply of tens of thousands of information resources in accordance with the collection development policies adopted by the National Library and Archives, in addition to providing cataloging and technical processing services for newly acquired, existing, and rare collections in compliance with international standards such as RDA and MARC21. The scope also includes bibliographic enrichment, authority control development, RFID and barcode processing, preservation treatments, protective covering, and advanced storage preparation.

Furthermore, the project covers the development and quality control of authority files for Emirati authors, organizations, conferences, and geographic names, in addition to cataloging and metadata quality services for Emirati serials and publications in accordance with ISSN and ISBN international standards. This contributes to strengthening the global visibility and accessibility of Emirati intellectual production within international knowledge ecosystems.
