Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (YANSAB) announces its Interim Financial results for the Period Ending on 2026-06-30 ( Six Months )

Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (YANSAB) reported a significant net profit of SAR 258.8 million ($69 million) for the second quarter of 2026, representing a 2,210% increase over the SAR 11.2 million earned in the previous quarter. This sharp recovery follows the completion of scheduled maintenance at the Ethylene Glycol plant in Q1 2026 and reflects a 263.9% year-on-year growth in net income.
Revenue for Q2 2026 reached SAR 1.88 billion ($501 million), a 42.3% increase compared to Q1 2026, while EBITDA rose 152% to SAR 625 million. The strong top-line performance was primarily driven by a 13% quarter-over-quarter rise in average selling prices across all product segments and high operational reliability that ensured consistent production levels.
The quarter’s results were achieved despite the recognition of SAR 104 million in provisions and higher costs for certain production inputs. Management attributed the ability to offset these costs to disciplined operational execution, optimized resource utilization, and the absence of unplanned shutdowns, which sustained high operational efficiency throughout the period.
