Agility Public Warehousing Company (Makhazen) announced a final Court of Cassation ruling regarding its legal dispute with the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) over the South Amghara Phase 5 plot.
The company completed the payment of KD 9,138,610.416 on March 16, 2025, representing the remaining balance of the court ruling after handing over the site to the authority in November 2024.
As a result of the judgment, Agility expects to recover KD 11,659,198.416, which will be recognized as other income in accordance with accounting standards.
The court also ordered Agility to pay PAI KD 80 for each day of delay from the contract expiry date of April 8, 2020, until the full handover was completed.
