Al Buhaira National Insurance Company (ABNIC) achieved a return to profitability in 2025, reporting a net profit of AED 2.59 million compared to a loss of AED 34.36 million in 2024.
Insurance revenue increased to AED 1.65 billion in 2025, up from AED 1.45 billion the previous year, supported by a significant AED 10.33 million investment in digitalization and operational efficiency.
The company reduced its combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas footprint by 39.76% year-over-year, achieving a carbon intensity of 15.05 tCO2e per employee.
Workforce metrics for 2025 include a total of 505 direct employees, with women representing 36.24% of the staff and AED 1.62 million allocated toward training programs for Emirati nationals.
