Approved a reduction of issued share capital from US$ 757.7 million to US$ 94.7 million by cancelling approximately seven shares for every eight held to extinguish accumulated losses.
Authorized a subsequent capital increase through a rights issue of up to 386.3 million new shares at a nominal value of US$ 0.25 per share.
Major shareholder Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust (DMIT) will provide an in-kind contribution of a Canadian property asset valued at approximately US$ 37.5 million and a cash contribution of US$ 12.5 million.
DMIT's beneficial ownership in the company is expected to increase from 51.56% up to a maximum of 68.31% depending on the level of participation by other shareholders in the rights issue.
