Empower reported a 44% year-on-year increase in net profit after tax to AED 208 million for the first quarter of 2026, with total revenue rising 16.8% to AED 631 million.
The quarterly performance was driven by higher capacity additions and a reduction in operational costs, contributing to a Last Twelve Months (LTM) revenue of AED 3.51 billion and EBITDA of AED 1.71 billion.
Operational scale reached 1.98 million refrigeration tons (RT) in total contracted capacity following 28 new contracts signed during the quarter, including a major agreement with Meraas for 17,500 RT.
The company's Annual General Meeting approved a cash dividend distribution of AED 437.5 million for the second half of 2025, while the ownership structure shifted as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) increased its controlling stake to 80%.
